Logan Whitehurst 1977 – 2006
It is with deep sadness and a stinging sense of loss that we say good-bye to our friend and collaborator, Logan Whitehurst.
Logan passed away on December 3, 2006 after a courageously fought battle with cancer, and our hearts go out to the Whitehurst Family and all of his friends.
Logan wrote, arranged and performed the score for Replica and his contribution to the project has added so much to the overall experience that we shall forever be in his debt.
Please visit www.loganwhitehurst.net to experience a taste of his genius. You’ll be glad you did.
So long, friend. We’ll miss you dearly.
Logan Whitehurst wrote the score for Replica using his hands and ears. He had not had previous experience with film scoring before Replica, and hopes the music can stand the test of time like the score for "Gone With the Wind" or "Lawrence of Arabia." Previous musical work for Logan included drumming for such bands as Little Tin Frog and The Velvet Teen.
His current solo project has been alive for some time, and is called Logan Whitehurst and the Junior Science Club. Representation for his "musical sidekick," Vanilla, the Plastic Snowman, wishes to state for the record that any and all credit for any music Logan Whitehurst claims to have produced is, in actuality, claimed by Vanilla.
